About Us
Learn about our mission, our story, and the team behind Kalpulli Across Borders.
Our Mission
We believe in Kalpulli — the Aztec principle of community as family. When one of us is displaced, all of us have a responsibility to respond. Our mission is to provide practical aid and restore dignity to those impacted by deportation.
Our Story
This project began from an urgent need to stand with families torn apart by deportation and to remind our community that no one faces this alone. Kalpulli Across Borders was born out of love, culture, and solidarity, created in response to the countless stories of parents, children, and neighbors forced to rebuild their lives overnight. What started as a small effort to help one family has grown into a collective movement rooted in Kalpulli, the Aztec belief that community is family.
